Hours After was born from a birthday present I made for my wife, I was inspired to finally give some real time and energy to making things, something I’ve done on and off for years. 

Now, instead of the mindless scrolling, I pick up a piece of timber or stone and see where it wants to go. I don’t force the process I let the materials speak.

I create when I feel like it. 

Some pieces shift and change completely as I work if it doesn’t feel right, it becomes something else. The name After Hours reflects the time when most of the day’s work is done, kids are in bed, my wife’s curled up with a cuppa and a book, and I’m out in the shed, letting the ideas take shape.
